Pastoral Care

At United Christian Church there are several avenues of pastoral care for church members and the wider community.  This care can range anywhere from home visitation to formal counseling provided by a pastor who is trained to offer counseling services.

Weddings and Funerals

United Christian Church gladly opens it doors to families during times of transition, celebration, and grief. The church welcomes couples preparing for marriage and unions. The church doors are open to families for funerals and memorial services.

For more information about weddings and funerals at United Christian Church contact Lee Williams-Miller, Minister for Pastoral Care, at 218-8110 (church office).

Stephen Ministry at UCC

Stephen Ministers are trained lay people who walk beside a hurting person. Stephen Ministers are church members who have received over 50 hours of training to provide emotional and spiritual care.

They listen, care, pray, support and encourage. Stephen Ministry is a free service that provides trained volunteers to "be there" for a person in need about an hour week. A Stephen Minister can help during times of loss, hospitalization, illness, unemployment, aging, birth, adoption, relocation, and other times.

For more information about Stephen Ministry at United Christian Church contact Lucia White at 218-8110 (church office).
